Borealis Village 1 XXL |View|Sauna|Fireplace|Ylläs

We spent a wonderful anniversary trip in Lapland at Borealis Cabin 1 (Äkäslompolontie 2748). The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. It had everything we needed – including a fridge, an air fryer, and a small induction stove. The fireplace added a lovely touch, and the sauna was fully equipped, even with shampoos. The windows opened to a peaceful forest view, and at night we could enjoy the clear sky through the large windows – unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights this time. There was also an outdoor grill available, although we didn’t use it during our stay. The surroundings were quiet and pleasant, and we even saw a herd of reindeer nearby. The host also sent a kind message to check if everything was fine, which was a very nice gesture. There’s a restaurant, large grocery store, and other services about five minutes away by car. We only wish we could have stayed longer – it’s definitely a place worth returning to for a longer stay!

Weekend for "ruska" hike Positive: Cozy small cabin in the middle of the forest. Near Äkäslompolo and Ylläs. Visited to see and hike during "ruska", and we couldn't ask for more. Toilet in the living area, shower in the sauna. Sauna can easily fit 4 people at once. The double bed was comfortable and the sofa can be extended for two people to sleep. The fireplace worked fine, making the evening super cozy. Clean and quiet (evening even eerie). Negative: - Took time to get used to the light switches. We figured that by holding the switch the light slowly switches off or can be set for lower brightness. - No scissors

Positive: Siistiä, modernia ja puhdasta. Ilmastointi suuri plussa. Ihana paikka luonnon rauhassa ja näppärä kontaktiton kirjautuminen. Tullaan varmasti toistekin.
